A Little Bit About Me
Assalamu alaykum.
I’m old school and opinionated, yet reasonably open-minded. INFJ personality type. Shy, while friendly and talkative. Can be sassy. I like to meet new people and highly enjoy good company. I find sweet people endearing and adore children, however I don't have any of my own yet. I am fond of Aunties. In relationships I have low tolerance for game playing. Quite adaptable, I am a third culture kid. Born and raised in Saudi Arabia and have lived on four continents.
Deen is of utmost importance to me. I love attending Islamic classes, retreats and circles of remembrance. I take pleasure in simple things. I enjoy walking, driving, reading and swimming.
Some other interests: Parenting, holistic health, qasaid. natural things, non-mainstream medicine, education, African/Black affairs, social welfare, volunteering, languages, music, baking, decorating...
I'm a hopeful romantic. Looking forward to having a beautiful, fulfilling marriage and nurturing a family. I anticipate spending quality time together, be it eating, praying, serving others, enjoying a good book or stroll, dancing, just hanging out talking, whatever. Insha Allah! :) The greater goal of striving for God’s pleasure and proximity to Him and the Beloved, peace and blessings be upon him is foremost.

What I Am Looking For
My partner in virtue. A man with integrity who is kind, responsible, affectionate, caring, playful, hardworking, communicative and passionate about helping others. Devout, spiritually inclined and seeking sacred knowledge in some capacity with Teachers. Preferably outgoing. I like to laugh, a good sense of humor would be great. Unconventional is a perk as far as I'm concerned. A good sense of direction (to compensate my lack thereof) is a bonus, otherwise we're bound to get lost together often! :)
Age 33-51. I am relatively open when it comes to existing children, education, marital status (apart from married), etc.
*Although flexible, I am very partial to Black men. Beards also really appeal to me.*

I appreciate informative profiles, they indicate a man who knows himself and what he's looking for, and has put thought and effort into expressing it. Lastly, establishing basic initial compatibility before communicating offline is important to me.
